Dubai hotels record region?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s highest profits
Dubai’s hotel industry recorded the Middle East and North Africa’s highest profit in 2012 for the third year running. According to a survey by HotStats, Dubai’s Gross Operating Profits per Available Room (GOPPAR) increased by 13.8%, outranking all the hotels surveyed across seven MENA cities. Data recently released by STR Global also shows 2012 was a highly positive year for the Dubai hotel industry, with average daily rates up by 7.9% and revenue per available room enjoying double digit growth of around 10.4%.
