flydubai ups Dubai-Prague services to daily

flydubai has started daily operations to Prague, an increase from four to seven flights weekly.

The low-cost carrier now operates 49 flights a week to 11 points in Central and Eastern Europe.

“Prague remains a popular destination for our passengers in the GCC,” said flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith.

“We also look forward to providing those in Europe with more choice and more opportunities to visit Dubai and beyond on our network.”

He added: “Our strategic base in Dubai allows passengers to benefit from flydubai's interline agreements with other carriers, providing opportunities for onward travel to more than 200 destinations.”

flydubai has been operating flights to Prague since 2014. The carrier’s Central and Eastern Europe network also includes Belgrade, Bratislava, Bucharest, Skopje, Sarajevo, Sofia and Zagreb.

“With the start of daily flights to Prague we are offering greater convenience and the value for money that our passengers expect. With WiFi connectivity and Live TV as our latest product offerings, flydubai is an airline that continues to innovate,” said flydubai’s senior vice president commercial (UAE, EU, ME, CIS), Jeyhun Efendi.

flydubai operates out of Dubai International’s Terminal 2 and serves more than 85 destinations in 43 countries, with 19 new routes launched in 2015.
