Dubai Civil Defense inspection is scheduled to be on 22/2/2015.
We anticipate having DM completion certificate around the 15th of March, 2015.
The FF&E works are ongoing, furniture is being fabricated; the delivery and the installation of the furniture will commence immediately after getting the completion certificate from Dubai Municipality.
The proposed interior designs of the F&B outlets have been approved by the operator.
We are expecting to receive the quotes for the fit out works required at the F&B outlets based on the approved interior design by the end of Feb, 2015. Our aim is to award these works by middle of March, 2015.
We have prepared a second show flat on one of the VIP floors. The flat was approved by the operator and the feedback was very positive.
The list of the small items and amenities required for the hotel based on the operator feedback was established. The procurement department is currently working on sourcing these items.
We have appointed a 3rd party consultant to carry out the Snagging inspections of the building. They have started the inspections along with the project consultant.
MEP & AC testing and commissioning will start after getting the power connected during the first week of March and the duration for these works is 45 days.

Civil defense certificate was issued on the 11th of March, 2015.
As per Dubai Municipality procedure for the issuance of the building completion certificate their first inspection of the building was carried out on the 29th of March, 2015. Minor comments were pointed out and the contractor is already working on these. We are expecting the building completion certificate to be issued during the first week of April, 2015.
The 3rd party consultant has completed the Snagging inspections of the building. Now the de snagging process is in progress. We expect this process to be completed by the end of April, 2015.
The electrical works inspection by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has been completed and the power will be provided during the month of April as per DEWA advice.
MEP & AC testing and commissioning has already been started by providing the power required through heavy duty generator. The final testing for the AC chillers will commence after the building receive the main power from DEWA.
As soon as the building is energized the delivery and installation of the FF&E works will commence.
The fit out contractor who will carry out the F&B outlets interior works has been appointed. He will commence his works during the month of April, 2015.
The list of the small items and amenities required for the hotel based on the operator feedback has been finalized. The procurement department is currently working on sourcing these items.
